Making your own candles at home is a fun and exciting hobby. It is easy and requires very little set up time or special equipment. You will soon be presenting friends and family with delightful candles as gifts, hand made by yourself, that they will treasure.

 

Our natural soy wax flakes is the main ingredient you need to make poured candles at home. You will also need holders for the finished products – have a look at our range of glass votives, candle holders and small glass containers. You can add fragrance and colour too to create unique themes.

 

The wax melts at between 45-50 degrees centigrade and this can be achieved on a normal stove or gas burner. Once the soy wax flakes are melted, add your fragrance and colour and stir. Place your purchased wick (not included) into the holder of your choice, secure upright using a small stick and slowly pour in the wax. Allow to set overnight. Next day, you will have a range of fabulous candles!
